Netanyahu: Ezekiel 37 Came True

FlashTraffic:

Netanyahu: “[After the Holocaust,” the Jewish people rose from ashes and destruction, from a terrible pain that can never be healed. Armed with the Jewish spirit, the justice of man, and the vision of the prophets, we sprouted new branches and grew deep roots. Dry bones became covered with flesh, a spirit filled them, and they lived and stood on their own feet. As Ezekiel prophesized: ‘Then He said unto me: These bones are the whole House of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up, our hope is gone; we are doomed.’ Prophecy, therefore, and say to them: Thus said the Lord God: I am going to open your graves and lift you out of your graves, O My people, and bring you to the land of Israel.’ I stand here today on the ground where so many of my people perished — and I am not alone. The State of Israel and all the Jewish people stand with me. We bow our heads to honor your memory and lift our heads as we raise our flag-a flag of blue and white with a Star of David in its center. And everyone sees. And everyone hears. And everyone knows – that our hope is not lost.”

Rosenberg: “The question for all Israelis and all people everywhere is now this: If the prophecies of Ezekiel 37 have come to pass in our lifetime, isn’t it remotely possible that the prophecies of Ezekiel 38-39 will come true in our lifetime as well?”

  1. Amen! We know the prophecies of God will come true. God is no liar.

As for when, we already see the nations conspiring against Israel. They will come and God will deal with these nations, magnifying himself before all the nations so they will know he is the Lord God (Ez. 38:23).

This may well happen in our lifetimes, before our eyes. Even so, we MUST be ready at all times for no man knows the day nor the hour of the Lord's coming (Matt. 25:13).

Perilous times lay ahead but our strength is in the Lord. Therefore we must watch and pray (Luke 25:28) and not be found unready for his coming.

    God bless.

“And everyone knows – that our hope is not lost.”

His hope is in Israel and he rejects Christ. It will profit him nothing in eternity.

Netanyahu is an unbeliever, an enemy of God. He needs the forgiveness of Christ, but Rosenberg treats him like a brother in Christ.

Rosenberg and his admirers don't worship Christ. They worship the Jews.

Of greater value than Netanyahu’s explanation (for all of his fine qualities is yet not a believer) is the inspired Paul’s exposition of this very passage in 2 Cor.6:16. Quoting Ezek. 37 he further explains it, telling the Corinthians – and all Christians – “you are the temple of the living God.”

Yes, there was a thrilling follow-up fulfillment of Ezekiel 37. It is the ever-growing of the gracious temple of the Living God, worldwide in extent, living stone upon the Rock of Ages!

    Reformationsolas.
Your criticsm of Rosenberg is very unkind and is not true.
Israel becoming a nation again is the greatest miracle of our time and is the partial fulfillment of Ezek 37.And it will come to glorious and complete fulfillment as Zech 12-10 tells us

it sure is a big stretch to make 2 Cor 6 an exposition of Ez 37

“it sure is a big stretch to make 2 Cor 6 an exposition of Ez 37″

Don’t tell me. Tell the Apostle Paul. 2 Cor. 6;16 is his quoting and elaboration of Ez. 37:27 and surrounding context.
