I am with you...it's depressing, the state of the organized church. I'm so sick of "grace" being a catch-all for whatever sin people want to do and not owncup to. It's frightening where we're headed as a country.

BLOGGER ..... sorry you don't understand sinning after one is saved, AND practicing sin after one is saved. One is a New Creature in Christ, all things become new. Do Christians still sin after the New Birth has come? Yes. Do professing christians still practice sin after the New Birth? No.

A bird told me he was an Eagle. I saw that he walked like a Duck and swam like a Duck, so I said that bird is a Duck.

I agree with Ingrid. Trouble is, don't be surprised if your standing up for truth and against sin causes YOU to be the problem. I pray that isn't the case, but do it anyway. I am so sorry you are going through this.

Literally the only way to do this is to calmly and determinedly take the bull by the horns and follow church discipline.

You need to confront him immediately. Your son is a witness to this. This man needs to be removed from ministry by his leadership, because not only is his life a lie, but his morals (or rather the lack of them) endanger the people of his congregation who trust him. You need to find someone who will give you godly counsel as to how to proceed and who will support you. If the church refuses to listen, they are a false church and deserve the kind of immoral leadership they currently have. Scripture tell us that the immoral will not inherit the kingdom of Heaven. "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders..." I Corinthians 6:9 They are called "wicked" by the Word of God. What is this wicked man doing in the pulpit. Silence on the part of wives in these situations is complicity. Seek help from a mature believer either in your church or elsewhere. The time for confrontation is now.

My 16 year old son texted me on Monday, telling me that my husband (not his father) was cheating on me and that I should hurry home. Puzzled, I pressed him for an answer but he said he wanted to tell me in person.

When I got home, he said that he saw my husband (edited due to graphic content) He said that my husband stopped when he realized that my son probably saw this scene.

Needless to say, my son was shocked! Did I mention that my husband is the pastor of our church. My son says that he will never go back to that church again and I can't blame him. I havent confronted him yet because I want to confirm some things first.

Our marriage is far from great and I am seeking God. I am ready to leave this madness and I am constantly looking around to see what I will take and pondering what my next move will be. I have no desire to remain in this so called relationship. This is truly the straw that broke the camel's back. Now, to realize that 50% of clergy are dabbling in porn is disturbing, to say the least. But I want to make sure that I make an informed and wise decision.

Never in a million years would I have imagined that something like this would occur! All I can do is just shake my head...

"Ken, I got your latest response and am not going to post it. "<br><br>-Eh, I'm not surprised. Such is the benefit of power - you get to silence the opposition.
