Chuck Norris on Obama’s Impotent Christmas Message

Columnist Chuck Norris at Worldnetdaily weighs in on Barack Obama’s so-called “Christmas message”, both to the nation and to school children at the Boys and Girls Club last week. Obama decided not to attend church on Christmas which made headlines. It shouldn’t have. The President’s warm embracing of Muslims at the White House at the taxpayer sponsored Ramadan feast a few months ago really said it all.

Obama has shown America who he is and what he is about before the elections.

  2. Sojournr says:

Ya. He's pretty much a two-faced, lying closet Muslim that wants to bring Statism into full swing here in Amerika. It's a crying shame that Americans were so quick to jump on the SLOWbama bandwagon JUST BECAUSE he was the “voice of change.” Well America, embrace the change you voted in. If you ever wanted to know what it was like to live in Czarist Russia, stand by.

The Polar Express was Obama's choice for the children (and indirectly for all voting adults) with the sole purpose of modeling the secular humanist celebration of the winter solstice, and the mythical and benevolent resident of the North Pole. See: http://www.pluggedin.com/videos/2005/q3/polarexpress.aspx. for the Focus on the Family review of the movie. Theme is work hard, study hard, and believe that Santa, although remote, will supply all your needs, wants, and rights. Of course, if you are an obedient follower of our Santa (called Obama), those needs and wants eventually morph into rights. So, submit your wish (rights) list, but those lists submitted in the form of a prayer will be returned “Undeliverable, return to sender”, so as not to offend. Better yet, if you prefer that a minus 80 degree venue is a less than desirable destination, head to the Polar Opposite destination of the real Messiah who will supply all your needs, without sending a chill up your spine.

Ouch. No offense, but please, let us not beginning to follow the common liberal theme of insulting those whom we disagree with. I detest President Obama's policies, but believe that as president, he is still due some measure of respect. One must not make such statements without real proof, or one appears to be a fool. For it is true, is it not, that there are, sadly, many Christians who do not attend church.

As well, do you have any idea what life was like in Czarist Russia? If not, then why act as if you do? The government structure was intrinsically different, and thus the population was left without the rights we have.

However, I do agree with you on some points. For one, I wish the Democrats would give me back my tax dollars they intend to spend on the murder of the unborn, and on sub-par health care, and keep their change. It appears that since the left is lacking in sense (cents) they want even more change. Sorry for the pun.

First, it would seem logical that you would check your grammar and spelling before posting contrarian responses. Then, read Proverbs 10:21, and read what the bible says about a fool. Is there such a type of fool as a libertarian? Yes, please supply all of us proof (factoids) that Obama is worthy of respect and how you would demonstrate that “measure of respect”. I totally agree with Sojournr's assessment. I would dare say that he is personally familiar with czarist Russia and Hitler's Reich. Otherwise, logically, he would not dare make statements based on facts evident to all about Obama, or even extrapolations about the possibility of statism replacing democracy and freedom, in light of those same facts. No, when one's life, rights, and liberties are at risk because of, and related to, Obama and his administration, we definitely lose respect.

  6. keneastburn says:

So much for that whole, “Well now that he is our president we'll pray for him,” that came from conservatives, huh? It looks like when Obama shows his true colors, so do we.

The comments here are evidence enough of that.

    Shameful.

  7. "reformed" says:

Actually those conservatives were talking about imprecatory prayer, i.e., that God would remove him from office one way or another. The other type of prayer is reserved for those who could be and may be redeemable to the extent we are prompted to do so by the Holy Spirit. In Obama's case, the latter is very doubtful. It is more shameful that we don't pray more of that type of prayer and that more Christians be more outspoken to protect their God-given inheritance, freedoms and rights.

  8. keneastburn says:

    A few things:

    1. I thought you might go to the imprecatory prayer. Unfortunately, the fact that you did indicates the extent to which you stand in stark contrast to Biblical witness. No doubt in the Old Testament some used imprecatory prayer (i.e. David as evidenced in the Psalms), but at what point did this become prescriptive for the people of God? Better yet, at what point did Jesus use imprecatory prayer or permit his disciples to do so? Did not Jesus forbid them in Luke 9:51-56? Do you not think that if Jesus had wanted Caesar out of office, he of all people could have made it happen? Wasn't it Jesus who told his disciple to love their enemies (Matt. 5:43-48) and to bless those who persecute?

And just so we're clear, imprecatory prayer is a prayer requesting harm. Not just that he would be removed from office, but that God would inflict harm upon he and his family. Surely you cannot take Psalm 109:8 without verse 9 as well.

    2. Of course, it is not surprising that you would summon God to inflict harm upon someone since you have no problem declaring them beyond redemption. Way to be, man! Good to know that we have someone like yourself around to tell us who is and isn't “likely” to respond to the Holy Spirit's prompting so as not to waste our time. Out of curiosity, how do you go about making these sorts of decisions? Is it the Holy Spirit working in you or just plain old pharisaism?

    3. What, pray tell, are the God-given inheritance, freedoms and rights that you speak of? The right to own guns? The right to free speech? The right to consumerist greed? The right to vote?

This has nothing to do with God. This has to do with the idol of America.

I have always wondered how Santa could stay warm in the North Pole. Does he import logs for burning? Has he illegally tapped into the Alaskan Pipeline? How would Cap and Trade affect his house and his wife? And what ‘bout the Reindeer?! Does he vacation? Is he still French? Just some questions I’ve had since childhood. Besides, I for one am sick and tired of Obama News. Santa is much more… well, you know, he wants to help children – not eliminate them.

  10. "reformed" says:

Shameful? Here is my retort to swallow with your cup of java today!
    1) Christians who hate America.
    2) Christians who agree with and like Obama.
    3) Christians who want to help Obama destroy democracy, freedom, and put us in bondage.
    4) Christians who want higher taxes on the rich to redistribute wealth as a demonstration of “Christian fairness”.
    5) Christians who find more evil in those who shed light on error and hypocrisy within the Christian community, than the gross and blatant evil of the current administration.

  11. "reformed" says:

theprodigalson-See: 1Cor13:11; 2Tim.3:13. When one speculates that childhood fantasies are more palatable than the never ending force feeding of the socialist takeover, one is surely headed down into a state of denial and deception that would rival that of Hitler's Germany! Instead share in His sufferings as a good and faithful soldier of Christ: 2Tim2:3-4. That is, be not “overtaken” by civilian concerns, but act as a soldier would in the army of Christ!

  12. Logician says:

No offense, but I disagree with all of those.

But I am still entitled to my opinions, as so far, all you have done is attack my personal stances, insulting my opinions, and not proven anything.

Obama can go to church wherever he wants, or not at all. It is his right. I may not agree, but that is the whole point of America! We have freedom! This isn't Spain during the inquisition, or England during the early 1600's.

  13. "reformed" says:

Brainwashed by a president? Is that possible? Not in America you say? Besides conservative Christians, the libertarian Christians will be outlawed under Obama, if we continue to obey and submit unconditionally. Absolute fealty and obeisance to a dictator (Hitler or Caesar) is neither Christian or libertarian (small l). If such was the true mandate of Scripture, then why all the blood of the martyrs? It is a subjective, not objective interpretation of “selected” verses of the Bible that would be libertarians vainly lean on for refutation.

  14. lewr says:

You do have the right to own a gun. You do also have the right to free speech and you do have the right to be greedy. Unless you're living in squalor, are opposed to defending your family, and against your right to speak on this blog, I suppose you feel the same way as well.
