“The first year of global governance”

With the capitulation of the Czech Prime Minister to the European Union globalists, the Lisbon Treaty is in place, and with it a permanent office of head of the European Union:

“2009 is also the first year of global governance, with the establishment of the G20 in the middle of the financial crisis. The climate conference in Copenhagen is another step towards the global management of our planet.”

Is this the man predicted by Daniel 7 to lead a Revived Roman Empire?

We see from Daniel 7 that 10 leaders will be in place before the 'small horn' uproots three horns and takes his place of leadership.

First, I love this! The communist (I think they like to be called communitarianists now, you know, with the “Third Way” and all) constantly what to drive us back to the Tower of Babel; they wish that God had never confused the tongues of the people. They have been trying to take over and “rule” the world since there was a world to rule. Never forget, they know what’s best for you. I find these people an enigma to behold: they claim you to be a “conspiracy-theorist” if you call it how it is, but then turn around and openly agree with you, and admit, that their officials are trying to do what you just said they were trying to do! And they are beside themselves with joy!

Riddle me this Batman: If the left-wing commies cannot efficiently run a country, what would make them think that they could run a world? Half of them can’t even run their own house. Socialism will always do what it does best: Fail.

I don't think this is 'him', but he is probably preparing the way for one who is 'out there' waiting in the wings. Whether it will be mere months, years...or another few decades before he makes his appearance, one thing is very certain...we ARE moving steadily in the direction the Bible predicts... for the return of the King of Kings.
