Did Facebook Jealousy Cause a Murder?

Facebook is a great tool for connecting and sharing with friends and family. But like any form of communication, it can be abused. There have been several reports recently on the effect Facebook has on dating and marriage relationships, and specifically how it creates jealousy. It works like this. Joe notices his girlfriend Jane has posted on Bob’s wall 3 times in the last two days. Jane hasn’t posted anything on Joe’s wall, and she’s seemed somewhat distant recently. Joe starts to get suspicious. One day, Jane says she’s going on a business trip and will be gone for the day, but Joe sees a message on Bob’s wall that says, “See you at the party!” You can imagine what happens next. More than ever, Facebook is leading to spying on one another and lack of trust. But now, it may have even led to a murder. Mashable reports.
